Confessions Of A Cockney Temple Dancer, 2018
The Early Years...
Shane initially trained in the Indian performing art of bharatanatyam with Pushkala Gopal and Unnikrishnan in East London. During this time he also underwent Carnatic vocal training and Mridangam and Nattuvangam (percussive) training.
He furthered his bharatanatyam training with Prof. C.V. Chandrasekar, Leela Samson and Mavin Khoo for whom he has conducted performances in Taiwan, Italy and London.
The Transformation...

Through working as a creative collaborator and performer with different companies and artists he has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience of different artistic disciplines and perspectives.
Shane's inquisitive and curious nature has led him to explore outside of his known language of bharatanatyam.
